Stayed at this motel for a weekend getaway. Excellent location close to shops and restaurants, with a nice quiet atmosphere. The unit we stayed in, Unit 4, had ample beds with extra bedding and electric blankets. Loved the modern kitchen and bathroom, as well as the good TV and small balcony. Rare to find a full-size dining table in a hotel, so that was a pleasant surprise. Air conditioning was great, though the timer setting woke me up, but I easily turned it off. Friendly and helpful staff, and plenty of clean towels. The provision of paper cups instead of mugs was a good idea.
Recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff - accomodating. Very clean room - good facilities and heater for warmth. We were able to have our dogs there for the dogshow (they stayed in their crates all the time).

The office was never open,I went to the motel a few times before I found someone there and the phone was not answered. The place in general is untidy,I was given unit 1 which had not long renovated, very nice except the bathroom could have been cleaner,ie;large cakes of soap that is left for each guest ,I was very comfortable otherwise. The motel is being renovated but it looks like no one is in a hurry,,,,Sad

The room was clean and comfortable with cozy beds and a great air-con. The location was convenient, close to shops and amenities. The staff member was friendly and helpful. The TV facilities were decent and the en suite shower had adequate hot water. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant.
The cleanliness could have been better, as the sheets felt dusty and the cups smelled of tea/coffee. There was a lack of cutlery, not even a teaspoon.

The Swiss Motel that we stayed in was budget friendly i think, it was very country oriented, right in the middle of the country city of Cooma, which i think was of great convience.
We did have an incident on about 10.50 pm,Saturday night (22/09/12) in which the hot water tap from the sink fell off when i was trying to close off during use and the hot water squirted all over the bathroom and in result flooded the 2 bedrooms, we also tried to contact the owner/supervisor for at least 30 minutes to tell them about the issue but there was there was no answer so we have to call 000 for Cooma Fire Brigade to to ask them to turn off the hot water, and from there advise we were ask to go look for another accomodation in the area, which we found at the Cooma Motor Inn.The next morning at 8am i went back to the Swiss Motel to tell him about the problem we had the previous night and the money was refunded ($240) back into my account. The only question i have is what if there was no accomodation available for us that night?

Bedding was for 5 / Dining was for 6/ Couch was for 2. Not enough relaxing area. Beds were too small and too soft - had such a bad back in the morning. No bed side lamps/ tables. Was very expensive for what we got.

The Swiss Motel offered great value for money, with a comfortable room and reliable hot water. The staff were friendly and laidback, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Convenient parking right outside our room was a definite plus.
Food for breakfast could have been better with a wider selection to choose from.

Being on our way to Snowy mountain, the best thing was the price, we got a good price for a standard triple room. During the peak season it's hard to find a good clean place at a reasonable price. The owner was very kind, and even put another single bed free of charge for my unexpected friend. The room was very good, not luxurious, but clean, with clean bathroom and bed. An oil heater and warm blanket was also provided. With no noise from neighbouring rooms, we had a good night's sleep. We will definitely go back again and we will also recommend to our friends.
A micro wave would have been very helpful to heat up our food, as there isn't much place to dine outside.

After reading reviews was in a negative mindset, after reaching i felt its not bad as said. Yes there will be no one in reception all time, couple handling hotel keep moving. Room is very neat and cosy. location ideal, early morning 1.5 hr drive could reach snow mountains. I liked the heater in the room. outside temperature very cold, but rooms are kept warm. only in the morning realized seeing the glass on the car that there was snow fall.
nothing in particular.. less space.. for $105 its okay.

The price was quite affordable compared to other options I found in the area. The location was also convenient, with easy access to town and a short drive to the snow. Plus, the manager was friendly and accommodating, even waiting for our late arrival.
The room was old and worn-out. The sheets did not look clean, and there was leftover rubbish from previous guests.

Clean, warm, dry. Friendly staff. Appreciated having the heaters & electric blankets turned on ready for us. Good shower.
Strong draft under the outside door. Beds & mattresses way past their best - no support. Shower curtain needed replacement.
